Surprisingly, these social media ads performed well when targeting a cold audience (versus retargeting campaigns focused on existing/warmer leads). Despite seeing a slightly higher lead cost (around 40%), Trustpilot-branded ads saw conversion rates nearly double — making this a highly effective strategy overall.

Some of these positive reviews mention a representative by name and this boosts employee morale. In some cases, these representatives share positive reviews on LinkedIn or other social channels.

Although TurboDebt has garnered more than 7,500 5-star reviews in about a year, not all reviews are positive. The small number of negative reviews displayed shows visitors that the company is transparent, enhancing the credibility of positive reviews. Depending on the nature of the negative review, TurboDebt presents the trends to the larger team so they can resolve the issue or reach out to the reviewer for more information.

Finally, TurboDebt placed the Trustpilot rating widget below the form on the Apply Now page. By prominently displaying Trustpilot reviews, TurboDebt hoped to increase consumer confidence in their business at this pivotal time in the sales funnel. She has experienced up to a 14% increase in conversion rates since adding the review widget to her Apply Now landing page.

Trustpilot’s business profile consistently ranks in the top five for key search terms, displaying a five-star rating and positive reviews to increase customer trust. TurboDebt receives approximately 1,000 clicks per month on its Trustpilot profile, and approximately 20% of these visits are ultimately referred to the TurboDebt website each period.
